She knew HoneyJ for a while and always knew HoneyJ was an incredibly skilled dancer for a long time. BYJ wishes she saw this battle in person. She said HoneyJ probably looks really strong and scary here, but when you talk with her she’s super cute. She found the whole Rihey v HoneyJ story very fun (like a movie) with the whole student vs teacher thing. Rihey vs HoneyJ: BYJ said if one of her students called her out on a battle, she'd be crazy angry. When Monika pushed ZSun's hat down, ZSun must've been incredibly pissed, but BYJ thinks it’s cool that ZSun tried not to show it and kept a smile on her face. The gaze that some of these dancers have (monika) is no joke. She said dancers these days are really pretty. She thinks a lot of the dancers are legit scary and she’d be scared of some of them too. But the fact that ZSun chose to battle a dancer she feared made her super cool in BYJ's eyes. When ZSun chose Monika, that was something that is normally seen as wrong to do because monika is such a sunbae to her. Monika and ZSun: BYJ doesn’t know about the relationship between street dancers like them. She thinks her hoobaes are doing a great job leading the way for dancers in Korea. She thinks more and more different countries will be asking Korean dancers to choreograph their dances. She feels so proud and happy that Korea has so many incredible dancers. And after watching this show, she is realizing that Aiki is not just a normal dancer, and she's realizing just how good Aiki is. She said she knew and acknowledged Honeyj as an incredible dancer for a long time.

Which dancers she thinks are really good: HoneyJ and Aiki. When girl dance groups battle, their pride is on the line, so these groups are extremely competitive But, she is actually a mom who has a kid. Aiki seems like a young boy in your neighborhood who is incredibly skilled at dancing. Aiki in her opinion is very cool and down-to-earth, and very witty and sensible. BYJ's dancing style is similar to Gabee’s but after watching Aiki dance, she became a fan of Aiki. It's not always cool to dance tough and do flashy moves, (and Leejung doesn't need to do that to dance well)Īiki & Gabee: they definitely had some tension between each other because on Refund Sisters, Aiki's dance got chosen and not Lachica's. Leejung: She has the natural ability to play with the (rhythm of the) music. Chaeyeon must've been really lonely here.
#Twitter bae yoon jung chaeyeon professional
She said chaeyeon went on like 3 survival programs now and she thinks Chaeyeon is so amazing and cool for pushing herself like this despite dancing with all these professional dancers. Simeez: she is really good, but in a battle you have to choose the right songs too.Ĭhaeyeon: BYJ said she was once contacted by Chaeyeon because she was having such a hard time on this program. That's just how it is.īYJ said she never did dance battles, and she doesn’t really like battles, and doesn’t have a lot of confidence in that. She says there is and always has been A LOT of tension and beef between dance groups.
That was what it was like when she was dancing so she is honestly a bit jealous of the dancers now (in broadcast teams) because they have so much confidence and can say “Look at me. You can’t do waacking, rocking, hip hop – and if you do practice this on your own time, people will go up to you and ask what the hell you think you’re doing, why are you practicing this – she thinks that kind of atmosphere made no sense (she was a part of broadcast dance teams). With broadcast dance teams, you’re not allowed to dance the way you want to. With street dancers, they are the center of attention, and they go to battles and competitions. She thinks street dancers and broadcast dance teams are very different. She thinks this program is so great because it lets dance groups become known to the public. Here are some things I caught from the video (correct me if I'm wrong):
